Time keep some slip’n…. slip’n… Into the future…

Today was a beautiful day. I was able to enjoy me some time with my kids outside, and cut bamboo to make walking sticks and fishing poles. Everyone needs time with themselves and with their families. This day and age it is very hard to find that time! With the advancement of technology and the invention of the smart phone you’d think that we would have more time, but the fact of the matter is we have become more and more busy as society advances.

As a Muslim who prays five times a day, reads Quran, visits the masjid, takes Arabic classes, studies other subjects in Islam, owns a business, etc., I can hardly find the time to do things like I have done today. My wife even commented to me that it seemed as if time was moving faster. I have to agree. It does seem as if some sort of changes are happening on a quantum level. Art Bell called it quote “The quickening”.

We can take a wonderful example from our Prophet Mohammed, peace and blessings be upon him, who use to leave the hustle and bustle of Mecca to clear his mind and reflect on those things that need reflecting upon, and try to find the time to find our own personal cave. And every single one of us needs time to our selves and time to reflect on our lives, the decisions that we have made in our lives, the decisions that we will be faced with, and most importantly our death. This is something that we should ponder and reflect on every waking moment of our lives, our death. How many of us have been working on the Hereafter, trying to do the obligatory and stay away from the forbidden?

Whether you want to believe it or accept it or not, there are forces at work that wish to destroy the family unit, belief in god,  and all things that are good and wholesome for humanity and the world at large. We, as a race of beings, need to join together to enjoin the good and forbid the bad!

Those who are not Muslim and do not understand Islam, this is exactly what our religion stresses and teaches us to do! To understand this correctly you have to turn off your television sets and your radios and dive into the Islamic sources, without any outside influences and opinions.

FAST FACT: In Islam, it is forbidden to waste time…..

What are you doing to enjoin the good and forbid the bad?
